The auditions of DID Super Moms at KITE College campus was a high-energy affair. Super moms showcasing their prowess on the dance floor with their latka-jhatkas, as they grooved on Bollywood songs such as Chikni Chameli and Sheila Ki Jawani “It’s a golden opportunity to showcase our talent. I am happy to be a part of the auditions,” said Pinky Singh, one of the contestants and a mother of two, who had come to Raipur all the way from Patna.
Many housewives, who were present at the venue to try their luck, attributed their passion-driven hobby to their loving hubbies. “It would not have been possible to dance here without the support of my husband. He was my dance teacher. I fell in love with him and we decided to get married,” said Munmun Naidu, a contestant.
This comment and her rocking performance charmed the judges, Neerja and Sonal, who called her husband Hari Naidu on the dance floor to shake a leg with her. “I am grateful to my husband for the confidence he had in me. He was the one who guided me throughout my dance rehearsals. I got only three days to practice as I got to know about the auditions post Holi,” said Preeti Bhawnani, a contestant, who was accompanied by her husband Ritesh.
